Student Housing Japan (SHJ) is a service by Terano AI team that helps foreigners — primarily international students — find short-term and long-term housing options across Japan, needing only English proficiency.

Japan's rental market is famously hard to navigate from outside the country. Listings are in Japanese, paperwork is in Japanese, guarantor requirements are opaque, and most agents won't even reply to a foreign email. SHJ closes that gap — search, view, and book in English; we handle the bilingual back-channel with landlords, agencies, and guarantor companies.
